St. Olaf's Old Main
Um Yah Yah!
St. Olaf’s Old Main was the original building of St. Olaf’s School founded by Norwegian immigrants in Northfield, MN in 1874. It acted as an academy until 1886 when it officially became St. Olaf College and graduated its first class in 1890.
Today Old Main stands as the beacon on “The Hill” and symbolizes a home away from home for Oles of all generations.
